Campaign pledges support Alive & Free's Leadership Academy and College Prep Class, helping Bay Area young people ages 14–24 prepare for college and navigate the path there.

Meet Greg.
Bay Area native and Santa Clara University graduate Greg Geibel has spent his career building communities, bringing people together, and creating authentic relationships at Oracle, AWS, and Zendesk.
Now he is swimming 500 miles in one year to help create scholarship opportunities for students through Alive & Free. Over the past 25 years, Alive & Free has provided scholarships to 300 students.
Greg hopes the challenge inspires others to get active and give back. Friends, family, and community members can pledge an amount for every mile he completes. Each pledge is multiplied by Greg's final campaign distance, up to 500 miles. No payment is collected when you pledge.
